Wine, Wine, Wine
We present wines from our region. These are currently served (come by and see for yourself), drunk up because the guests liked it so much and the wine of the corresponding vintage (this is in the nature of things) could no longer be reordered. Some wines are not served anymore because they were put back, saved, just before they were drunk. And finally, you can read some interesting facts about the wine, the cellar and the pressing process.

2028: 1000 years of Naumburg, 1030+ years of viticulture in the region
As is well known, Naumburg will celebrate its 1000th anniversary in 2028. The city’s origins are generally traced back to the documented transfer of the bishop’s seat from Zeitz to Naumburg in 1028. Since the 900th-anniversary celebrations in 1928, this significant date has formed the basis for the city’s anniversary celebrations. However, there is also a document stating that viticulture on the Saale and Unstrut rivers began at least as early as 998, i.e. at least 30 years earlier.

Our wine tastings are not subject to a minimum number of participants or restricted to specific opening hours.
2024 Klingers Muse Winery Grober Feetz
The second vintage since 2023 that we’ve been allowed to serve in our humble little hut is proving very popular once again: If a winemaker decides to experiment and creates a cuvée, he can hardly name it after a single grape variety. Here, three varieties come together: Yellow Muscat, Traminer and Scheurebe. Why did the winemakers choose ‘Klinger’s Muse’ for the label?
2025 Grauburgunder Muschelkalk Winery Frölich Hake
A Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) of exceptional character: shaped by the shell limestone, it reveals an elegant spiciness and complex aromas of dried fruit, raisins and subtle hints of almond. Juicy yet smooth on the palate.
2025 Scheurebe Muschelkalk dry Winery Frölich Hake
In our small, relatively young wine bar, this is already the fourth vintage of this Scheurebe, following 2022, 2023 and 2024. Juicy peach, crisp apple and a zesty citrus note – this 2025 Scheurebe from Frölich Hake is fresh, lively and spot on. Perfectly balanced on the palate, with an enticing interplay of sweetness and acidity and a smooth, easy-drinking quality.
2024 Grauburgunder Breitengrad 51 Winery Frölich Hake
The distinctive characteristics of the Freyburger Edelacker vineyard contribute to the character of this Pinot Gris. The limestone-rich soils and the unique microclimate created by the terraces in this vineyard give the wine a remarkable minerality and lend it an unmistakable terroir character.
2025 Müller-Thurgau Winery Pawis
Bernard Pawis’s Müller-Thurgau, his winery ist situated in Zscheiplitz, a suburb of Freyburg, is a true classic from the Pawis winery and a straightforward delight.
