2023 Chardonnay Spätlese Winery Wartenberg 

Following the 2022 Chardonnay Spätlese, we are delighted to be able to offer our guests the next vintage (2023). A wine from the steep slopes of the Naumburger Steinmeister with a remarkable alcohol content (14 per cent). It was awarded 89 Falstaff points in 2025.

We are permitted to quote from Falstaff magazine’s tasting notes: “Combines coolness and ripe fruit on the nose: ripe apricot, pear, banana, freshly cooked sweetcorn, orange zest and a subtle hint of ice lolly. On the palate, it is powerful with an oily texture, ripe acidity, rich fruit and a smooth finish...”
