2022 Dornfelder Winery Grober Feetz

Unfortunately, the 2021 Dornfelder from the Freyburger Edelacker, produced by Grober Feetz, has now been drunk up. This Dornfelder from the 2022 vintage has therefore been added to our wine list. Its predecessor had set the bar very high.

It’s great to see that the winery uses corks as bottle closures. What makes them special is that they are fully recyclable corks made from sugarcane-based plant biopolymers. The capsule around the neck of the bottle has been deliberately omitted. The lovingly designed labels are made largely from grass – or, to be more precise, sun-dried hay from local meadows. Handcrafted from start to finish. Chapeau, hats off!
