One of the samples in the glass contains about 0.1; with five wine samples, that adds up to half a litre. That’s why the guided wine tastings we host include plenty of mineral water (still, medium, sparkling – whichever the guest prefers).

In June, we welcomed three sporty ladies from Leipzig. They travelled by train as far as Weißenfels, as Naumburg was inaccessible by train due to track works. From there, they continued by bike. We held a five-wine tasting for the three of them, featuring Burgundy wines from the Saale/Unstrut wine-growing region. We had quite a bit of fun. We started right on time at 11.00 am and finished shortly after 1.00 pm. The ladies then cycled back to Leipzig – which was quite a feat in itself. It was a good thing there was plenty of water.

The tasting followed our sample theme, "A lot of Burgundy, not much France.". We are more than happy to accommodate special requests and interests. However, we also have additional suggestions, for how the wine tasting can be structured around the main focus: the wines themselves.
