Tasting of 3 Wines: "white - rosé - red"
The time had finally come: the first wine tasting for one person had been booked. Given the Zurich-based wine lover’s preference for red wine, we were more than happy to deviate from our usual themed examples for guided wine tastings and eventually agreed to organise a short round trip covering white, rosé and red wines. As this well-travelled lady wanted to gain an overview of wines from the Saale-Unstrut region, there simply had to be at least one white wine included.
We have selected
2025 Riesling Buntsandstein dry, Bernard Pawis Winery, Zscheiplitz [Alcohol 12.5 I Acidity 9.0 I Residual sugar 8.0]
2025 ‘Alles Rosa’ dry, Klaus Böhme Winery, Kirchscheidungen [blend of Portugieser, Dornfelder and Frühburgunder | Alcohol 11.5 | Acidity 5.0 | Residual sugar 6.0]
2023 Dornfelder dry, Frölich-Hake Winery, Roßbach [Alcohol 13.5 I Acidity 5.8 I Residual sugar 0.2]
As well as discussing the wines and sharing some interesting facts, we also chatted about a few bits of news from Switzerland and Germany and exchanged travel experiences.
The tasting did not follow any of our suggested wine-tasting themes. We are more than happy to accommodate special requests and interests. However, we also have additional suggestions, for how the wine tasting can be structured around the main focus: the wines themselves.
Wine tastings with us are not subject to a minimum number of participants, nor are they restricted by our opening hours.
