The most important thing about a wine is that it tastes good, after all.

If the selection of wines appeals to our guests, then sometimes something runs out and in the end we say with one laughing and one tearful eye: ‘’Drunk up‘’. And then you can't endlessly reorder certain varieties from certain vintages from certain wineries. That is in the nature of things.

2022 Dornfelder Winery Frölich Hake

This Dornfelder presents a striking interplay of flavours, combining juicy dark berries, ripe cherries and delicate nuances of plum. This wine not only reflects the typical characteristics of the grape variety, but also reflects the current vintage.

2021 Dornfelder Freyburger Edelacker Winery Grober Feetz

This red wine is hand-picked and vegan, from Freiburger Edelacker. Matured in barrique barrels.

2022 Blauer Zweigelt Winery Pawis

This red wine with soft tannins and flavours of blackberries and plums is the perfect accompaniment to food.

Tasting of 3 Wines: "white - rosé - red"

The time had finally come: the first wine tasting for one person had been booked. Given the Zurich-based wine lover’s preference for red wine, we were more than happy to deviate from our usual themed examples for guided wine tastings and eventually agreed to organise a short round trip covering white, rosé and red wines. As this well-travelled lady wanted to gain an overview of wines from the Saale-Unstrut region, there simply had to be at least one white wine included.
