2022 Weißer Burgunder Winery Pawis This Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) bears witness to the terroir of the Saale and Unstrut rivers. It is soft, fruity and reminiscent of stone fruit. Subtle minerality.
The time had finally come: the first wine tasting for one person had been booked. Given the Zurich-based wine lover’s preference for red wine, we were more than happy to deviate from our usual themed examples for guided wine tastings and eventually agreed to organise a short round trip covering white, rosé and red wines. As this well-travelled lady wanted to gain an overview of wines from the Saale-Unstrut region, there simply had to be at least one white wine included.
