2024 Chardonnay VDP Ortswein Winery Böhme & Töchter

Even the very first vintage we served in our bar – the 2023 – went down very well with our esteemed customers. We are therefore all the more delighted with the latest vintage of this Chardonnay, the 2024. Compared with its predecessor, it has slightly lower acidity and less residual sugar.

We can quote from the winemaker’s expert assessment: The flavour exhibits “a meaty texture, mineral salinity, crisp acidity and spice”. The bouquet is described as follows: “Exciting yeast reduction, damp limestone, pineapple, ripe pear and gooseberry, paired with nutty notes and hints of herbs.”
