2024 Veitstanz 9.0 Winery Klaus Böhme
Whilst we previously had the 2022 Veitstanz 8.0, we now have the 2024 Veitstanz 9.0 on tap. Inside the bottle, the Pinotin, the Portugieser and the Dornfelder are ‘dancing’ together. The dance floor is once again bathed in a deep red. The flavour sets the tone – and it’s a real character.
The three grape varieties perform a ‘Veitstanz’, as all three were grown in the Burgscheidunger Veitsgrube vineyard, tended by the winegrower. This is the ninth ‘Veitstanz’ produced by the winery, hence the designation 9.0. We are delighted to have the second vintage in a row here with us. Plenty of fruit, reminiscent of ripe cherries, wild raspberries and strawberries from the Pinotin. The Portugieser, a true veteran, impresses with its full body and depth, whilst the Dornfelder brings the colour to the wine.
