Blauer Zweigelt variety
The Blauer Zweigelt originated in Austria from the crossing of the St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch grape varieties.
As a young wine, it has a distinctly fruity bouquet, which becomes rounder and finer the longer it is stored. It has a dark, often typically bluish-red colour with a high density, a fruity, spicy aroma and an intense taste of cherries and berries.
